Melanie Fiona Tributes MJ with “I’ll Be There” Cover

Grammy nominee Melanie Fiona gave a soulful performance of Michael Jackson’s hit single “I’ll Be There” on Thursday (Jan 26), during the King of Pop’s Hand & Footprint ceremony for the Jackson family.

Fiona has logged several huge spot performances including singing the Canadian national anthem for millions of viewers at the NHL Winter Classic Game, as she prepares for the forthcoming release of her sophomore album ‘The MF Life.’

Confident about overcoming the sophomore slump Fiona told Singersroom, “I am in a good place with being more sure of who I am and where I see myself headed and reflecting that through my music.”

Her new album is due out in May!
